MICROBIANA - OF MICROBES, ART, MEDICINE AND HUMANKIND
Microbiana.org is primarily a project aimed at stimulating discussion on the world of microbes, their breathtaking diversity, beauty and aesthetics. In the process the project hopes to bring together scientists, artists and social activists in an attempt to open up new ways of understanding the evolving relations between the human species and micro-organisms.
Microbiana.org is supported by ReAct, a global coalition of scientists, health activists and researchers working on the phenomenon of antibiotic resistance. The contents of the website however, does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the organization or individuals active with ReAct.
