ReAct chaired the WHO / World Alliance for Patient Safety Working Group on Antimicrobial R&D and put forth a number of recommendations for reengineering the R&D value chain.

This is what a student researcher, performing a master thesis at ReAct has strived to find out by intreviewing numerous consumer organisations. Read more about her findings. ReAct Latin America established
Everything is now settled with the agreement between ReAct and the University of Cuenca. The cooperation is initiated with the aim to build a ReAct network in Latin America ( RLA ) to raise awareness and to stimulate social and political action on antibiotic resistance and the effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. The ReAct network in Latin America will be established as a base, building on existing networks working with health and social issues and will stimulate an ongoing process of activities, education and research to achieve a comprehensive concept of health in the region. ReAct supporting a new strong, RUM, Rational Use of Medicines resolution
On the 25th of January ReAct distributed 2 fact sheets to the WHO Executive Board meeting delegates to support a strong RUM resolution and reporting back of the antimicrobial resistance resolution WHA58.27 at WHA in Geneva, May 2007.
