Dr. Jaya Ranjalkar is the Interim Director for ReAct Asia Pacific at C.M.C Vellore, India and a member of ReActs Global leadership team.
As Director of Asia Pacific Dr. Sujith J. Chandy aims to collaborate with civil society, institutions and policy makers in the region through research, advocacy and activities towards conserving and enabling access to effective antibiotics.
Dr. Ranjalkar completed her M.D. in Pharmacology in the year 2016 from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. Her research was on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of antitubercular drugs in children. On successful completion of her M.D, she worked as a consultant for the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi) India and authored a report titled ’Snake-bite and Market Landscape of Anti-venom in India – A situational Analysis’. Her main areas of interest include infectious diseases with a specific focus on tuberculosis.
