Dr Salman Khan, a physician turned public health specialist, works as Senior Technical Advisor and Resource Mobilization Lead at ReAct Africa. With vast experience in infectious diseases, grant writing, and digital health, he plays a crucial role in developing tailored proposals for potential funders and provides technical guidance to ongoing projects aligned with ReAct’s Strategic Plan.
He previously worked with the WHO and consulted on projects funded by USAID and Global Affairs Canada. His expertise includes designing digital technologies for disease surveillance and treatment adherence. He was involved in consultancy works for the Global Fund and the WHO, and led a suicide prevention program in Kerala. Additionally, he has served as a medical officer for the Airport Authority of India and held administrative roles at a medical institution.
