As Head Policy & Strategy for ReAct Africa, Tracie Muraya advocates for AMR issues in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. She engages with policymakers, AMR stakeholders, and national and local AMR Coordinating Committees, including at the Regional Quadripartite and Africa CDC. In project management, Tracie coordinates in-country projects implementing National Action Plans on AMR.
Prior to joining ReAct Africa on full time basis, Tracie worked as Program Officer at EPN, majorly involved in projects’ planning and implementation to promote access to quality pharmaceutical services in low and middle income countries.
She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Rhodes University, South Africa, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from University of Liverpool and Master in Public Health (Global Health Policy) from University of Suffolk.
