Join ReAct’s webinar on 8 June as we look ahead to the 5th Global High-Level Ministerial Conference on AMR in Abuja, Nigeria. The event will present findings from ReAct’s global community survey and bring together speakers for two panel discussions on how community voices can help drive stronger action on antibiotic resistance.
On June 28-30 2026, governments will convene in Abuja for the 5th Global High-Level Ministerial Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), under the theme “One Health: Advancing Global AMR Commitments through Local Action.” The Meeting represents a critical opportunity to move beyond political commitments and accelerate measurable, accountable implementation.
Representation from communities and civil society actors at Abuja
Communities, grassroots organisations, and civil society actors remain underrepresented in decision-making processes, despite their essential role in implementation and accountability.
Results from global survey and multi-stakeholder dialogue
Through the From People to Leaders: Road to Abuja 2026 initiative, ReAct is building on the global mobilisation achieved ahead of the 2024 UN High-Level Meeting on AMR.
The global survey has been co-developed together with community representatives and civil society organisations, ensuring that priorities reflect lived experiences and implementation realities.
This webinar will present the findings and create a multi-stakeholder dialogue to ensure that community-driven evidence informs advocacy and policy engagement leading up to Abuja.
